NARKO

NARKO is a son of the JUNIO bull, who has won top honors at the breed’s most prestigious competitions, out of an ARAMIS daughter from GAEC BARRY in the Pyrénées Atlantiques.

Its production is very homogeneous morphologically and within the breed. It transmits muscular qualities for a mixed to mixed-meat model combining width, muscular roundness and finesse. Skeletal development is at a good level, guaranteeing growth and a good adult size for these daughters.

It also improves functional skills. The back lines are taut and the legs well positioned.

With good maternal performance and good fertility results, NARKO’s daughters will be harmonious, functional cows that fix their muscular qualities while preserving their maternal aptitudes.

ONDENC

ONDENC, a FROOME on CLIMAX son from the AURIVA genetic creation, is one of the most complete bulls evaluated on progeny. With birth rates indexed at 106 resulting from massive use on heifers with very good birth conditions, he’s a sire of choice for first calving. But be careful not to confine it to this niche. It is a leading option for inseminating cows. As mentioned in the introduction, he is first and foremost an excellent sire of damsels, leaving very strong mixed calves.

As for his daughters, they are well-balanced cows with solid functional aptitudes and easy maintenance. Endowed with good calving abilities and excellent pelvic openings, these cows have superior dairy potential and will pass on their growth qualities to their calves. ONDENC is therefore a bull that will suit all production systems combining ease of breeding and performance.

ORIGAMI

ORIGAMI (FUXEEN/CLIMAX) descended from the famous VANDA cow family from the GOYHENX breeding farm in the Pyrénées Atlantiques.

This bull is in line with the best bulls evaluated on maternal qualities. Its production is of the mixed-breeding type with very good lengths and a good level of muscling, particularly at weaning. Finesse, color and harmony are the hallmarks of these strikingly blond females.

With 100% easy calving of his daughters at the station, and measured milk production far superior to that of the other bulls tested, he is a clear improvement in these traits. He’s an ideal new bull for the production of maternal, elegant renewal females.

Weaning News

Alongside them, two new bulls evaluated for ease of birth and calf performance at weaning broaden the choice. They provide additional solutions for inseminating heifers with PITCHOUN and for adding originality to mating schedules, and anticipating with high-level bloodlines with PANTZO will be ideal.

PITCHOUN is a HASHTAG son with a cumulative combination of ease of birth and maternal qualities from the prestigious ULICIA line from the Collardeau breeding farm in the Deux-Sèvres region. Indexed at 115 for this trait after the birth of his on-farm evaluation calves, he’s a new option for inseminating your heifers. Its production is of the mixed type, very racy with great finesse, especially in the limbs.

With PYHA and ONDENC, they form a trio with different pedigrees for inseminating heifers while reducing calving risk.

PANTZO, son of IODELYS out of BERLIOZ, whose daughters joined the station this spring, impresses with his regularity in a very racy mixed model. He is a son of the JOCOU-bred cow MASSILIA, who won the CGA de Paris 2020 with her sister, followed by PANTZO. Currently undergoing maternal quality evaluation, we’re offering you this bull in anticipation of the exceptional quality of his batch of heifers. Young Genomic Sires

On the eve of the arrival of single-step indexing, scheduled for 2025, we are innovating this year by offering a selection of 3 young bulls entered for testing last year, with their first calves born this autumn. These bulls from AURIVA sire-dam matings have passed all the stages of the selection program prior to testing. Their genomic indexing is very high, above 120 points for IVMAT.

ROD is the result of a mating between JABU and the INTERLUDE cow from GAEC BARAUDERIE in Deux-Sèvres. This cow has had a remarkable career, with a VIF of 365 days and 8 calvings. An excellent breeder, she has an Alait of 114. He’s a mixed bull who has expressed strong growth and station potential. Committed to on-farm evaluation, ROD obtained its first calves in the summer of 2023.

RAPACE is also a son of JABU out of the GAEC IRIGAYA cow GAZELLE in the Pyrénées Atlantiques. This exceptional cow, a CALINOU daughter, has an Alait of 111 and a score of 80A. RAPACE is a powerful, racy bull with a very good pelvis. Its first test calves will be born in autumn 2023.

SPIDERMAN comes from a solid genetic combination of LATSARI/FUXEEN/CABREL/TOKAPI. His dam NAYA, whose first two calves were qualified RRJ at the station, is scored 78A and indexed at 119 in IVMAT. SPIDERMAN is a functional, thoroughbred mixed breed that has also been tested for maternal qualities.

Hornless bulls

Last but not least, the hornless range is expanding even further this year. The selection work begun over 15 years ago to offer Polled bulls that meet your requirements is bearing fruit.

Alongside NIBIRU P, whose production rivals that of horned bulls, and RELAX PP, the first homozygous bull distributed in France and available in conventional and sexed female semen, two young bulls, heterozygous SELF P and homozygous SIGMA PP, join the catalog.

SELF P is a bull that has expressed strong growth potential on station, with very high GMQs and excellent muscle development that have propelled him to the top of the IMOCR rankings in his series. It also has very good breed qualities, with a beautiful blond color, an expressive head and good finesse.
